The Chaeli Foundation

Today we were very lucky to listen to a presentation by the Chaeli Foundation. Chaeli is a young lady who initially started the Foundation to raise funds for an electric wheelchair when she was a child but has since raised funds for many other disabled children. Chaeli's mom spoke to us about the awards Chaeli has won all over the world as well as her achievements. Chaeli and her dance partner then treated us to a Latin American wheelchair dance demonstration. Below is link to their website if you would like to find out more:

When we got back to class some of the children made Chaeli cards to show their appreciation and admiration for everything she has achieved. I have such caring children in my class this year!
